Note: This role is a temporary role that ends Jan 2027.

What You Will Do:

• Buildproficiencywith the use of in-house and industry recognizedhydraulicsengineering tools.

• Conduct hydraulic studies using modelling software to analyze pipeline systems for design and maintenance issues develop solutions and issue formal technical recommendations.

• Assistengineersin conducting technical reviews with a focus onhydraulicsengineering at various stages in project life cycle gating process.

• Provide engineering support byparticipatinginhydraulicsengineering activities related to operation and help troubleshoot hydraulics problems within assigned asset areas.

• Supportscope development of pipeline and facility projects.

• Ensureeffective and proactive communication ismaintainedwith all internal and external stakeholders.

• Learn and supporttrans-thermal hydraulic modelling onthermally sensitive assets.Frequentlyvalidateand calibrate thermal capacity models.
  

Who You Are:

• Completion of a degree in Engineering (Process Chemical Petroleum Mechanical or related degree).

• Registered as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA or eligible to register.

• 2-4 years of engineering experience.

• Experience working with DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS) software is an asset.

• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical analysis and recommendations to a diverse audience.

• Self-motivated and proactive able to thrive in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines.
  

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with up to 5% travel.
