Job Summary
Are you a SAICAqualified Finance Professional with 35 years postarticle experience and a passion for the Energy Renewables Utilities or Power sectors I am building a highcalibre Finance Talent Pool for leading organisations in Cape Town that are scaling investing in new projects and strengthening strategic finance.
This is not a live vacancy but an opportunity to be considered for upcoming roles across Finance Manager Senior Financial Accountant FP&A Analyst and Head of Finance pipelines.

Oversee monthend close balance sheet integrity and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS
Develop and manage annual budgets rolling forecasts and variance analysis
Provide commercial insights to operations projects and leadership teams to support investment decisions
Lead and strengthen financial controls compliance frameworks tax submissions and audit processes
Support strategic initiatives such as project finance capex reviews feasibility assessments and scenario modelling
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 35 years postarticles experience
Exposure to Energy Utilities Renewables Engineering or Projects highly advantageous
Advanced proficiency in Excel and modern ERP/BI systems
Strong technical grounding in IFRS reporting and financial governance
Ability to analyse complex data and present actionable commercial insights
Comfortable working in fastpaced projectdriven environments
Strong stakeholder engagement across finance operations and leadership teams
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualification:
CA(SA) qualification (SAICA)
