Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full-Time Process Support Specialist in Nashville Tennessee.
As a Process Improvement Specialist at NGHs Ambulatory Clinics you will lead and manage process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency reduce costs and improve performance across clinical and business units. This role involves analyzing existing procedures identifying opportunities for improvement developing and executing project plans and tracking outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management to implement sustainable process changes leveraging strong analytical problem-solving project management and communication skills to drive measurable results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Understand and document current processes workflows and associated metrics.
- Develop hypotheses for how potential improvements can be implemented and measured.
- Design and execute experiments to test the validity of hypotheses.
- Implement solutions that have been proven effective through experimentation.
- Train and support employees in the use of new or improved processes.
- Monitor process performance metrics to ensure that improvements are maintained over time.
- Prepare reports documenting process improvements and their impacts.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on process improvement methodologies.
- Stay up to date on best practices in process improvement and share knowledge with team members.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization.
EDUCATION:
Associates Required
Bachelors Preferred
Additional education requirements
Associate or Bachelors degree in business healthcare or a related field OR 3 years of experience in process improvement quality assurance or a similar role.
Additional experience requirements
- 3 years of experience in process improvement quality assurance or a similar role.
- Proficient in Excel
- Healthcare and insurance background is preferred.
- Cerner experience is preferred.
