Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT:COMMUNITY SCHOOLS SUMMER 2026- NURSESThe Brockton Public Schools is pleased to advertise the following positions for the Community Schools Summer 2026 upon funding and adequate enrollment the Community Schools of Brockton will provide an array of enrichment and academic support programs for students at all grade levels. Most programs are scheduled to run Monday June 29 through Friday July 31 2026. Extended Day will run June 29-August 21 2026 and Raise Up Basketball will run August 3-7 2026. Nurses are needed to support the various schools are as follows: Angelo Brookfield BakerBHSSouth Nurses are needed to work in the schools holding the Community Schools - 2026 Summer Programs. Positions are contingent upon funding and adequate student enrollment. QUALIFICATIONS: be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse as a school nurse or pediatric have a current CPR First Aid and AED Certification organizational communication and computer skills with the electronic health record School Nurse Assistance Program (SNAP) commit to work the entire length of the program and/or job share and attend trainingDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Be available by phone to consult with site supervisors on medical situations during scheduled shifts 2. Review medical information of enrolled students3. Communicate with parents and site supervisors regarding medical conditions 4. Review medical information for vacation program and summer program enrollment 7. Adhere to required regulations for funded programs 8. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Schools program coordinator and program supervisors All nursing positions begin 15 minutes before the start of the program and end 15 minutes after the program closure.
