Job Summary

TPF Recruitment are representing a highly respected and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Beaconsfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager into their growing Accounts & Business Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key management role with responsibility for a varied client portfolio team leadership and contributing to the continued development of the department within a supportive and progressive practice.

Responsibilities

As an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager you will play a pivotal role within the team combining technical delivery client management and people leadership. You will:

Take overall responsibility for the preparation and review of annual financial statements including statutory accounts partnerships trusts and sole traders.
Manage a diverse client portfolio acting as the primary point of contact and providing a high level of service and commercial insight.
Lead mentor and review the work of Assistant Managers and junior staff supporting performance management and development.
Liaise closely with partners and other departments to deliver integrated value-added services to clients.
Ensure work is delivered efficiently to a high technical standard and in line with agreed deadlines.

Requirements

Were looking for someone who:

Is ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
Has strong experience within a practice environment managing client portfolios.
Is confident using cloud accounting software.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Has proven leadership and people management experience.
Is commercially minded organised and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Required Skills:

For this fantastic opportunity you may be an AAT studying and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT with a background in accountancy practice with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice preparing accounts tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging long term career move at Accounts Semi Senior level within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants offering progression and career development.
