Meet the team:

Joining the Product & Channel Marketing team the Sr. Global Brand Strategy Manager Market Shaping will play a pivotal role in transforming Dexcom CGM beyond just a glucose management tool by redefining market categories seizing the opportunity created by converging clinical evidence regulatory shifts and technological innovation across new disease areas. This role focuses on strategic intelligence opportunity assessment and execution of market-shaping initiatives that influence clinical practice policy and stakeholder behavior globally.

Where you come in:

You will lead cross-functional teams to create category growth beyond traditional diabetes care positioning Dexcom as a leader in integrated metabolic health solutions with a focus on:

  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis: coordinate a cross-functional working group continuously assess trends and opportunities for Dexcom by monitoring global clinical regulatory and policy trends impacting monitoring device adoptions. Support whitespace analysis and develop strategic insights from real-world evidence KOL perspectives and health economics data.
  • Opportunity Assessment & Value Proposition Development: Drive development of strategic frameworks and compelling value propositions for patients HCPs payers and policymakers across varying disease areas using structured frameworks (e.g. STEP analysis value vs. effort matrices).
  • Market Shaping Strategy & Execution: Oversee execution of market-shaping initiatives across regions ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and measurable impact to influence guidelines reimbursement and stakeholder perceptions. Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated campaigns (policy advocacy HCP education patient engagement).
  • Performance Measurement & Adaptation: Establish KPIs for market-shaping activities (e.g. guideline inclusion access expansion adoption metrics) and implement feedback loops to refine strategies based on real-world outcomes.
  • Partner with Market Access Medical Affairs and Regional Marketing to validate evidence packages and influence guidelines and reimbursement pathways.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members fostering a culture of strategic thinking and collaboration.

What makes you successful:

  • You have at least 710 years in strategic marketing market access or health policy within medtech pharma or healthcare consulting.
  • Bachelors degree in business marketing life sciences or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience managing global initiatives and influencing executive-level decisions.
  • Strong analytical and strategic foresight skills; experience with scenario planning and business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor talent.
  • Experience in diabetes cardiovascular renal or womens health markets; familiarity with CGM technology and health economics preferred.
  • Excellent presentation written and oral communication skills.
  • Cultural agility and global mindset: comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive clarity in evolving markets.
