Job Summary
As a Procurement Specialist at ATCO Australia you will play a central role in delivering highvalue commercially sound procurement outcomes across a defined spend category. Youll champion category management plans support the development of strategic sourcing approaches and proactively identify opportunities that deliver value for money enhance supply chain resilience and meet evolving business needs.
Working closely with the Procurement Lead you will translate category plans and business requirements into actionable strategies guiding stakeholders through procurement processes uplifting capability across the organisation and ensuring governance compliance and modern slavery obligations are met.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong commercial acumen enjoys building trusted relationships and is energised by shaping procurement outcomes that drive sustainable longterm value.
What Youll Be Doing
- Support the development and execution of category strategies by leveraging spend analysis demand forecasting market insights and stakeholder input.
- Implement sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value totalcostofownership improvements and aligned business outcomes.
- Identify and manage categoryspecific risks including modern slavery SOCI and supply continuity with effective mitigation plans.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships providing commercial guidance and enabling strong informed decisionmaking.
- Drive procurement excellence through supplier performance management governance and compliance leadership process efficiencies and timely market insights.
What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business Procurement Supply Chain Commerce or a related discipline - or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of procurement frameworks endtoend sourcing commercial negotiation and contract governance.
- Proven experience leading procurement initiatives including project management probity market engagement and stakeholder communications.
- Demonstrated ability to influence negotiate and constructively challenge to support effective stakeholder engagement and decisionmaking.
- Solid understanding of risk management across governance safety modern slavery supply continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience improving procurement processes uplifting culture developing scopes and delivering cost and efficiency benefits.
