Job Summary
Responsibilities
Primary duties will include:
- Conduct periodic performance check-ins with team
- Conduct final reviews of threat reports
- Lead a small team of cyber analysts
- Monitor JIRA for various tickets and respond/assign as needed
- Compose cyber reports for Defense Industrial Base partners
- Conduct open-source research of indicators of compromise utilizing common threat vendor tools
- Analyze threat data from various sources and provide updates to government stakeholders as appropriate
- Provide cyber threat briefs to internal and external audiences as requested and provide feedback to other briefers as part of a dry-run review team
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Self-motivated individual with attention to detail
- Proven ability to display strong emotional intelligence and foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Initially required to be on-site daily then at least two days per week; with additional days as needed in support of operations
- Proven ability to ability build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Secret security clearance required (TS preferred)
- Experience with Department of Defense Cyber Operations
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
- Knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
- Experience with Jira or other similar platforms (e.g. ServiceNow)
- 10 years of experience may have supervisory or lead experience
