About the Role
As a Nursery Teacher you will take responsibility for planning delivering and assessing high-quality learning experiences that support all areas of childrens development including social emotional cognitive and physical growth. You will create an engaging and welcoming classroom environment where children feel confident safe and motivated to explore.
Your role will include:
Leading a class of nursery-aged children and delivering creative play-based learning experiences
Planning and implementing the EYFS curriculum to promote learning through discovery play and structured activities
Supporting childrens personal social emotional and communication development
Observing and assessing childrens progress using these insights to inform future learning
Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide high-quality differentiated learning
Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home
Promoting a safe inclusive and positive learning environment
Contributing to wider school initiatives staff meetings and professional development activities
This role is perfect for an early years practitioner who is passionate creative and committed to nurturing the very youngest learners in a dynamic professional setting.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic reflective and compassionate educator who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant early years qualifications (EYTS PGCE with EYFS focus)
Has experience teaching in early years or nursery settings (experience in Reception is desirable but not essential)
Is skilled at planning play-based and structured learning activities
Understands child development and the EYFS curriculum thoroughly
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can inspire motivate and engage young children through creativity and innovation
Is committed to inclusion safeguarding and child wellbeing
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to a positive collaborative culture
