Job Summary:
The CHO/Public Health Nurse will plan deliver and supervise primary healthcare services in line with public health standards. The role involves preventive promotive and basic curative healthcare delivery within the community ensuring improved health outcomes and adherence to public health guidelines.
Tasks
- Provide preventive and basic curative healthcare services at the community or facility level.
- Conduct health education and awareness programs to promote healthy living.
- Supervise Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) and other health staff.
- Maintain accurate health records and prepare periodic reports.
- Support immunization maternal and child health programs and disease surveillance activities.
- Identify and manage community health risks and refer complex cases appropriately.
- Support training and mentoring of junior health workers.
Requirements
Registered Licensed Community Health Officer (RCHO) or Registered Public Health Nurse.
Candidate must reside around ikere Ekiti State
Valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body.
OND/HND/BSc in Community Health Public Health Nursing or related field.
25 years relevant experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
