Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (Ref.: 534183) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should hold a good Bachelors degree and have 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in academic programme administration within tertiary institutions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility collegiality and flexibility and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong computer literacy and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required with fluency in Putonghua considered an advantage. Proven experience in administering taught postgraduate programmes and developing curricula will be a definite asset.
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support for the Schools taught postgraduate programmes in the area of promotion and publicity in social media admissions programme administration and development student matters and day-to-day enquiries advising committee servicing and other duties as assigned.
