Research Assistant I/II in Immunoassay Development(Ref.: 534702)

We now invite applicationforthe captioned posts which focus on immunoassay development in the Department of Medicine School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and validate immunoassays including antibody screening pairing optimization antibody conjugation and evaluation of sensitivity and specificity
• Perform molecular biology experiments such as probe design PCR qPCR protein expression and purification independently
• Assist in experimental design data collection and analysis and preparation of experimental records and technical reports
• Support daily laboratory operations including reagent inventory management and standardization of experimental protocols
• A 5.5-day work week is required

Requirements

• A Masters degree or above in Molecular Biology Immunology Biochemistry Biotechnology or a related field
• Solid theoretical foundation in molecular biology with proficiency in common molecular cloning and protein detection techniques
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills and the ability to independently design and execute experiments
• Detail-oriented patient and responsible with good record-keeping habits
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project-driven R&D environment
• Prior experience in immunoassay development is preferred

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
