Job Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a night-shift contract assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care continuous cardiac monitoring and patient education in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms vital signs and laboratory results
Safely administer IV and oral medications including cardiac medications
Perform frequent physical and neurological assessments
Accurately document patient conditions interventions and responses in the EMR
Educate patients and families on medical conditions medications and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements
Active New York State RN license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience
Strong assessment critical-thinking and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a night-shift acute care setting
