Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides skilled nursing care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with the healthcare team. The role requires strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and other members of the team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to infants in the NICU.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in Cerner.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Local candidates preferred (within 75 miles of the facility).
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float facility; all resources are required to float at the facilitys discretion.
- Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month required.
- No block scheduling.
Scheduling:
- 3x12s 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
