Exciting Opportunity: Lab Analyst
Are you a detail-driven analytical chemist looking to grow your career in a fast-paced laboratory environment Were seeking a Lab Analyst with hands-on experience in instrumental analysis to support our testing operations. If you enjoy working with advanced analytical technologies and take pride in producing high-quality data this role could be a great fit for you.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Lab Analyst your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing client samples calibration standards and Quality Control samples
- Performing routine analysis using HPLC GC-MS LC-MS ICP-MS and related techniques
- Operating instruments interpreting data and documenting results in LIMS
- Maintaining Quality Control records and performing data reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Following SOPs and supporting method validation and verification
- Assisting with ISO 17025:2017 accreditation proficiency testing and audits
- Performing routine instrument maintenance and performance checks
- Meeting turnaround times and communicating issues to the Lab Manager
- Supporting safety quality systems and other assigned duties
What Were Looking For
- BSc in Chemistry or a related field
- 13 years of experience with HPLC GC-MS LC-MS ICP-MS or similar instruments
- Familiarity with Chromeleon Agilent OpenLab CDS or equivalent software (an asset)
- Knowledge of QA/QC ISO 17025:2017 and GLP principles preferred
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 10 kg
