The Network Analyst will maintain the integrity functionality and security of the ICT (Information & Communication Technology) Network environment. The successful applicant will provide the technical skills required in the planning implementation and support of the hospitals Network infrastructure. The Network Analyst will maintain a broad knowledge of the ICT departmental activities and procedures including Operations Applications Network and Telecommunications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan deploy maintain and support network equipment and technology.
- Analyze and remediate complex network problems.
- Monitor alerts and performance of network hardware and systems.
- Perform routine procedures to ensure network related hardware and systems are stable reliable and perform well.
- Perform regular upgrades to hardware firmware and systems.
- Technical documentation.
- Limited other duties as required (e.g. Cisco Call Manager telephony audio/visual collaboration technology).
Qualifications :
- Information Technology Degree Diploma or equivalent education/work experience.
- Cisco certification CCNP preferred
- Palo Alto certification preferred
- 5 years of progressive experience in the Information Technology Field including applications networking operations and telecommunications.
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS and NX-OS pertaining to Cisco Switches Firewalls Routes and Wireless LAN Controllers.
- Ability to monitor and analyze network performance across hospital LAN WAN and wireless deployments.
- Knowledge of external network services (e.g. WAN SD-WAN SIP Internet).
- Knowledge of Palo alto firewalls.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP UDP IPsec L2L IKE ISAKMP VPN GRE 802.1q 802.11a/b/g/n DNS DHCP LWAPP VOIP RTP MGCP H.323 NAT RADIUS VLANs LACP CDP STP RSTP Subnetting Multicast.
- Knowledge of the OSI model.
- Familiar with network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds Wireshark Iperf.
- Limited knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cisco IP phones Cisco Unity Voicemail.
- Limited knowledge of Cisco Prime DNA CMX MSE.
- Knowledge of multifactor authentication.
- Technical Writing/Documentation Skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently/unsupervised.
Additional Information :
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hour shifts; 0800-1600 or 0900-1700 (Hours are subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $43.692 to $54.615 per hour
