The Director of Student Services provides district-wide leadership and oversight of comprehensive student support systems serving more than 1900 students in grades PreK12. This position supervises Student Services personnel including Social Workers School Counselors English Language Learner (ELL) staff School Nurses McKinney-Vento staff and related support roles. The Director is responsible for department budgeting professional development grant writing and management regulatory compliance program development data-driven decision-making and oversight of student enrollment processes across Director of Student Services provides vision and leadership to advance student wellness inclusive practices and equitable access to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). This role serves as the Districts Section 504/ADA Coordinator McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison and Court Liaison ensuring accountability compliance and high-quality programming across all schools. The Director collaborates closely with district and building leadership community partners and external agencies to assess and respond effectively to student and family needs from early childhood through transition to adulthood and the Director is a strategic proactive leader who demonstrates strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills and an unwavering commitment to fostering student wellness positive school culture and innovative teaching and learning practices for all must possess a minimum of three (3) years of successful administrative or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. New Hampshire State Administrator Certification is required. Applicants must demonstrate working knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations evidence of excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal and group facilitation abilities. The School Board may consider such alternatives to the above qualifications as it finds appropriate and acceptable.
