Executive VP

SUMMARY:

The Executive Vice President is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and business activities at their agency. Duties will include allocating budget resources coordinating business operations monitoring and motivating staff managing operational costs ensuring good customer service improving administrative processes engaging with vendors hiring and training employees identifying business opportunities and monitoring financial activities. The role also requires adherence to company policies and mandatory laws/regulations (state local and federal/DOT).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement processes procedures and best practices to improve organizational profitability.
• Communicate important updates to staff.
• Serve as a strategic partner on the management team to help drive and achieve sustainable growth.
• Help cultivate sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Oversee financialaspects of the companyto includebusiness forecasting budgeting cash management AR/AP financial statements payroll and bookkeeping.
• Oversee operational aspects of the company to include purchasing safety driver/labor qualifications/management and warehouse management.
• Employee management responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding organizational structure ICOA administration hiring and termination compensation performance management training and disciplinary actions.
• All other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree is required. A masters degree in business administration is preferred.
• 7 years of leadership experience in relocation or logistics or an otherwise adjacent industry.
• Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of Financial Reporting and Planning Customer Relationship Management Sales Human Resources Warehousing and Operational efficiencies.
• Proven communication strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills including root cause analysis.
• Understanding of best practices in client services ethics and diversity & inclusion.
• Global and cultural awareness.
• Robust understanding of mandatory laws/regulations (state local federal DOT).

COMPENSATION:

This is a full-time non-exempt position with a target salary range of $140k-$150k annually depending on relevant skills and experience.
