Compensation
Local Weekly Pay: $1759.50
Travel Weekly Pay: $1837.50
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support an acute care healthcare facility in Syracuse NY. This night-shift role requires strong clinical expertise independent decision-making skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality respiratory care. Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license/registration
Minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience following degree completion
Strong interpersonal communication and critical-thinking abilities
Ability to successfully complete pre-employment health and compliance requirements
Preferred Experience
Pediatric respiratory care experience (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Administer positive pressure ventilation and aerosolized therapies
Initiate monitor and adjust oxygen therapy as clinically indicated
Assist physicians with the initiation and ongoing management of mechanical ventilation
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as required
Conduct pulmonary function testing
Perform radial arterial punctures
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting with minimal supervision
