Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Summary:

Join a well-established physician-led medical group that provides compassionate high-quality care in the beautiful coastal city of Santa Cruz California. Our clinic features a state-of-the-art Premier Infusion Center conveniently co-located at the Hematology Care Center ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort in a supportive environment. We are currently seeking a full-time and part-time Hematology/Oncology physician to provide exceptional care starting March 1 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert hematology and oncology care utilizing the co-located Solari Infusion Center.
• Partner with navigators and social workers to ensure a seamless supportive patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship.
• Engage in daily multidisciplinary rounds and weekly tumor boards in an ambulatory setting.
• Access a dedicated multidisciplinary team including nurse navigators and genetic counselors.
• Provide support across a 17-bed inpatient oncology unit clinical trials and survivorship programs.
• Manage an average of 13-18 patients per day.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology (highly preferred; BE candidates will be considered).
• Board Certified in Hematology (highly preferred; BE candidates will be considered).
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
• Active California medical license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
• Clean malpractice/background check.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active California medical license (required).
