Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Summary:
This inviting opportunity is located in a well-established medical facility in Santa Cruz California. The clinic is seeking full-time and part-time Hematology/Oncology physicians to join their collaborative team beginning March 1. The Premier Infusion Center conveniently co-located at the Hematology Care Center offers 15 private bays designed for optimal patient safety and comfort. The facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality care with a strong support network.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert hematology and oncology care utilizing the state-of-the-art Solari Infusion Center.
• Collaborate with navigators and social workers to ensure a seamless patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship.
• Maintain clinical excellence in an ambulatory setting seeing approximately 13-18 patients per day.
• Participate in weekly tumor boards and daily multidisciplinary rounds.
• Access support from a multidisciplinary team including nurse navigators social workers and genetic counselors.
• Engage with comprehensive care resources such as clinical trials and survivorship programs.

Qualifications:

• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (mandatory).
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology (Highly Preferred) or Board Eligible candidates considered.
• Board Certified in Hematology (Highly Preferred) or Board Eligible candidates considered.
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program (Required).
• Active California medical license (Required).
• Active BLS certification (Highly Preferred; can be processed during credentialing).
• Active DEA registration (Required).
• Clean malpractice/background history (Required).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active California medical license.
• Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology (Highly Preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Active DEA registration.
