This is an Aboriginal Health Practitioner position to support the delivery of the Azithromycin At Birth Trial a randomised controlled trial examining whether a single dose of oral azithromycin given before birth can reduce bacterial infections in mothers and babies. This research aims to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes particularly for Aboriginal families.

This position is based in Darwin and includes travel to remote communities by light aircraft or 4WD for participant recruitment for up to five (5) days per trip and up to two (2) trips per month.
