To do this we are innovating by adapting a better more sophisticated approach to how we plan manage and deliver new this role you will be embedded in SA Water working on behalf of the community to improve safety reliability cost and communication.
The Opportunity
As a Project Manager you will be integrated into SA Water supporting a large portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure programs. Influencing and collaborating amongst an extensive stakeholder group of construction partners vendors regulators and internal teams will be critical as you drive multiple projects to beneficial outcomes. Our collective goal is to deliver an efficient capital works program and infrastructure projects from inception to close out - safely on time within budget and to customer and community expectations.
As a key member of this team you will be required to:
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams of internal and external subject matter experts and Delivery Partners (capable and committed team)
- Ensure a portfolio of projects or programs are delivered safely on time and in accordance with cost technical environmental operational and social requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of project and program management capabilities and systems
- Identify improvements in processes or practices that show a benefit to themselves or the team.
Who are you
To succeed in this opportunity you will have experience managing projects in complex environments. We will have different projects focused on civil mechanical and electrical. Client side or owners engineering would be ideal but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager understanding scope risk scheduling cost and construction management is desirable
- Demonstrated communication/reporting skills and experience in working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Understanding of various delivery/contractual models and legislative WHS requirements
