About the Role
The role provides both strategic and operational leadership for the successful delivery of power programs and major
projects. It oversees field supervisors project managers and project engineers to ensure safe efficient and high-quality
execution of work. The position is accountable for delivering large-scale power projects (up to $15M) within scope budget
and schedule while maintaining strict adherence to safety quality and regulatory compliance standards. Responsibilities
include being the owner of the Power PMM and managing all phases of major projects from initiate through to close-out.
As a key leadership role it drives safety culture people development and performance management while dynamically
allocating resources to enable the successful delivery of the broader Power business objectives.

Location: Vic Ferntree Gully
Reporting Line: Power Program Director - Vic
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver power projects up to $15M within scope budget and schedule to the Service Stream PMM framework.
- Manage stakeholders including clients contractors and internal teams.
- Control project finances monitor costs and manage variations in a timely manner.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Oversee quality assurance testing commissioning and documentation including being PM2 accredited.
- Coordinate resources efficiently (people and plant) and mitigate risks to achieve successful outcomes.
About You

Experience required
- Over 10 years experience in overhead/underground lines construction management projects.
- Project Management experience in a contracting organisation or project based business or similar with a proven ability to operate in a dynamic live environment and to meet project hurdles
- Experience in the application of structured project management methodologies to a wide range of projects
- Understanding of power distribution networks processes and procedures
Qualifications required
- Trade qualifications or Civil/Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent (Project Management/Construction Management).
- PM2 Accredited (desirable)

- Computer Literate
- Report writing live environment
- Core Programming Skills
- Knowledge of work structures conditions tools and equipment used by team construction staff
- Ability to manage and take accountability for all project functions
- Financial Management: ability to maintain budgets & drive cost accountability
- HSEQ risk assessment legislative compliance
