Job Summary
Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst (Oracle Applications)
Location: Houston TX
Shift: Day Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle application testing to support enterprise systems. This role focuses on defining and executing QA strategies leading testing efforts and ensuring the quality reliability and performance of Oracle-based solutions. The ideal candidate has experience working in complex environments and can lead testing initiatives from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute QA testing strategies for Oracle-based applications
Develop and maintain test plans test cases test scripts and test scenarios
Perform functional integration system regression and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Validate Oracle modules and integrations to ensure business and technical requirements are met
Identify document track and manage defects through resolution
Collaborate with developers business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing scope
Ensure testing standards best practices and quality processes are followed
Provide test status reports defect metrics and quality assessments to project teams and leadership
Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a QA Analyst or QA Lead in Oracle testing environments
Strong knowledge of Oracle application testing strategies
Hands-on experience testing enterprise systems and integrations
Experience creating and executing manual test cases (automation experience is a plus)
Strong analytical troubleshooting and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and lead QA efforts with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing Oracle modules such as Financials HCM or SCM
Familiarity with integration testing and data validation
Experience working in large enterprise or public-sector environments
Exposure to test management tools and defect tracking systems
