We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants hotels canteens and everything on-con.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Retention:
- Identify target and onboard new clients
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
Sales Execution:
- Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to showcase our product offerings.
- Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and address any challenges.
- Negotiate pricing terms and contracts to achieve mutual satisfaction.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the full range of products.
- Provide customers with insights into product usage benefits and best practices.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor market trends customer preferences and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to management to adapt strategies and improve offerings.
Order Management:
- Process and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams (warehouse logistics etc.) to guarantee high service levels.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and forecasts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12) required; a diploma or degree in sales business or a related field is an advantage.
Experience:
- Proven track record in sales preferably within the food service hospitality or FMCG industry.
- Familiarity with liquor products is a strong advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and CRM systems.
Other Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
