DescriptionActivity leads play an integral role in the facilitation of the 100 Elk program modeling tone and culture for staff and participants and setting the tone for living with the Christian Science principles of integrity compassion and respect. Activity leads are responsible for organizing and caring for program materials during the season as well as the season opening/closing. They develop lesson plans and facilitate those lessons. They provide feedback on the success of or ways to improve the program areas they are focused on. Activity leads support summer programs as needed and may fulfill a role on the summer staff team.

Qualifications- Live and demonstrate a commitment to Christian Science principles of integrity compassion and respect; be loving in actions towards others
- At least 18 years old; high school graduate or equivalent at time of employment
- Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards
- Enthusiasm for working with young people with love patience and consistency
- Ability to flexibly support in a variety of areas as needs arise
- Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities
- Youth program leadership experience preferred
- Camp or outdoor education experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR certification required (100 Elk can provide training/certification)
- Have or be working towards a Level II ropes course certification (100 Elk can provide training/certification)
