Job Summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 1½-year-old male patient in the comfort of his home. This is a meaningful opportunity to deliver high-quality individualized care in a calm and supportive environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Lubbock TX
- Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Pay Rate: $20$26 per hour
- Pay Schedule: Weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled overnight nursing care in a pediatric home setting
- Manage tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent care including suctioning and routine trach care
- Administer enteral feedings via GJ Mickey button
- Monitor assess and document vital signs and patient condition throughout the shift
- Ensure patient safety comfort and adherence to the plan of care
- Communicate effectively with family members and the clinical care team
Requirements:
- Active LVN license in the state of Texas
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Trach and ventilator experience required
- Experience with G-tube or GJ-tube feedings
- Pediatric private duty or home health experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with confidence patience and professionalism
