Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for providing global product compliance technical program management and leadership to ensure that all electrical mechanical material and other regulated performance specifications are satisfied in all countries where AWS business exists or will expand.

GTPC is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the AWS services are developed imported exported and operated in a compliant manner across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand including all product certification/safety regulations.
Key job responsibilities
You will be part of the Product Compliance Engineering team within AWS Global Trade and Regulatory Compliance team (GTPC) that collaborates with Datacenter Engineering Product Engineering Compliance Engineers Regulatory Analyst legal trade strategy and supply chain to implement compliance specifications and policies provide product compliance support during product development builds compliance programs to support AWS Datacenter Infrastructure Power Generation Solutions and Region Service Business including hardware technology development and deployment and new region planning and launches. You will develop compliance specification and plan troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues that arise in the course of AWSs NPI and other business processes.

- 3 years of technical product or program management experience
- 3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
- 3 years of experience on leading product compliance projects for complex system and large scale deployment in tech industry or machinery industry.
- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Masters degree in engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in managing product compliance projects and familiar with technical domains in safety EMC restricted substance and/or electrical and fire code compliance.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
