The Scale House Clerk is responsible for weighing inbound/outbound trucks verifying deliveries and completing required documentation to support yard and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer trucks and collect transport order information (TO#)
• Record inbound/outbound truck weights
• Print transport orders and distribute tickets to forklift operators
• Verify deliveries and inspect incoming materials
• Print shipping manifests and assist with load verifications
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation
• Support loading sample orders and inventory counts as assigned
• Communicate with drivers yard leaders and outside haulers

Qualifications :

• 1 year scale house clerk experience or related experience
• Strong computer/data entry skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift experience/comfortability a plus

Employee must be able to identify color blends variances non-conforming color blends with up to three different colors on each product. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations; also includes the ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders; and position self in tight spaces. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms talk or hear.
