Job Summary
Position Overview
We are hiring for the position of Specialist Airport NAV Aids Expert for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves planning reviewing and ensuring compliance of airport navigation aids (NAV Aids) systems in line with DGCA ICAO and AAI standards to support safe and efficient airport operations
Key Responsibilities
- Review plan and support implementation of airport NAV Aids systems including ILS VOR DME DVOR NDB PAPI and ALS
- Ensure compliance with DGCA CARs ICAO Annex 10 and AAI specifications
- Review airport layouts obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) and safeguard requirements related to NAV Aids
- Coordinate with DGCA AAI and other regulatory authorities for approvals and inspections
- Prepare and review technical reports compliance matrices and regulatory submissions
- Support flight calibration commissioning and operational readiness of NAV Aids
- Identify risks related to signal interference terrain and obstacle constraints
- Liaise with design teams consultants and contractors to ensure regulatory and technical compliance
- Support aerodrome certification and licensing activities related to CNS/NAV Aids
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant aviation or CNS/ATM certifications will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Additional Information :
- Experience in greenfield and brownfield airport projects
- Prior experience working with AAI DGCA or airport operators
- Experience in managing projects in live airport environments.
