Job Summary:

As an FP&A Manager you will manage performance within the finance team for the HUB24 Group.

This role will support the finance team and other business leaders with ad hoc financial and business analysis key strategic projects and report presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop rolling budget quarterly forecasts and cashflow modelling and reporting

  • Reporting on variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period

  • Proactively suggest improvements that increase profits

  • Review budget requests for approval

  • Drive continuous improvement within the Group budget and forecasting processes and systems helping establish best practice processes and standards

  • Review the companys budget for compliance with legal regulations

  • Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines

  • Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures

  • Provide commercial advice to support key client opportunities

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of business improvement projects

  • Provide forecasting and advice of financial outcomes of merger and acquisition activities

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience in accounting

  • CPA/CA qualified

  • Strong experience in group finance roles within large complex businesses (ideally ASX-listed)

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Netsuite/PeopleSoft and Workday Adaptive is very highly regarded

  • Experience or interest in Power BI and data visualisation tools

  • Build strong working relationships built on trust and respect

  • Persuade and influence the thoughts and actions of others

  • Articulate and persuasively present critical arguments

  • Build rapport and professional credibility
