Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Manager is responsible for meeting with clients in person to identify their needs present tailored solutions and secure signed contracts for estate sales. This role does not involve cold calling; all appointments are scheduled by the Inside Sales team.
Approximately 50% of the role involves in-home client consultations while the other 50% focuses on community relationship-building and networking. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of the sales process excellent interpersonal skills and empathy to address client needs effectively.
As a representative of True Legacy Homes the Outside Sales Manager plays a vital role in strengthening the companys reputation and driving growth. Achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction are essential for success in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel within the County to meet with prospective and current clients.
- Present True Legacy Homes estate sale retail services during client interactions.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts with potential clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Estate Attorneys Fiduciaries Residential Care Facilities and other community partners to enhance business opportunities.
- Maximize the value of pre-scheduled leads provided by the inside sales team through thorough preparation and compelling in-home presentations.
- Conduct in-home visits to understand client needs provide tailored quotes and secure signed agreements.
- Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and recommend strategies to improve lead conversion and overall sales performance.
- Provide detailed sales reports to management highlighting lead outcomes conversion rates and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless client handoffs and a positive customer experience.
- Attend weekly department meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and sales initiatives.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and represent True Legacy Homes with integrity and professionalism.
- Leverage familiarity with Sandler sales techniques and/or NEPQ sales training to enhance performance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team success and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Drivers License.
- Reliable transportation is required to travel to client homes and work locations.
- This position may occasionally be to work weekends.
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable B2B sales experience required.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must have knowledge and ability to use Salesforce or other CRM system.
Physical Requirements:
- The nature of the position requires frequent travel to and from various locations within the County. Occasionally travel may be required to neighboring counties.
- May on occasion require prolonged periods of sitting walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift push pull up to 20lbs.
Work Environment:
Work may involve exposure to dirt dust fumes loud noise or chemicals.
