STUDENT ACCOMMODATION SECTION
The Office of Student Affairs invites applications for the post of Student Housing Officer in the Student Accommodation Section which manages 3700 on-campus residential places and provides comprehensive residential education in the context of whole-person development to students.
The appointee is expected to provide general administrative logistical and clerical support for the day-to-day operation of the Student Accommodation Section. Working on shift duties may be required.
Temporary Student Housing Officer (4month Contract) ()
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistical support for daily hostel operations and residential education initiatives;
- Coordinate with the cleaning team on routine and adhoc on-site cleaning arrangements;
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel facilities and follow up on identified issues;
- Assist with counter services system operations and general office administration;
- Support checkin checkout room changes defect rectification and room preparation;
- Liaise with contractors and internal departments on matters related to hostel operations;
- Support refund-related matters including laundry charges and caution money;
- Handle enquiries perform data entry and prepare operational and financial reports; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- A recognised diploma or above; candidates with at least one year of relevant work experience will be preferred;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Proficiency in computer applications including Excel and Chinese/English word processing;
- Selfmotivated organised and able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Prior experience in hostel operations or customer service is an advantage; and
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours as required.
The appointment will be offered on a fourmonth fixedterm contract tentatively from midApril to midAugust 2026.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
