Job Summary

Full-time Senior Student Affairs Assistant in the Counselling and Person Enrichment Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 534684) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding).

Applicants should have (a) a recognized degree or diploma with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience; OR (b) with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007) Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR (c) minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in using Microsoft applications and online conferencing and collaboration platforms (e.g. Zoom/ Microsoft Teams) is a must. Applicants should also be a good team player with positive attitude strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Mastery of online/social media marketing and experience in managing events programmes and/or projects would be an advantage. Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment and strong sensitivity in handling confidential information are required.

The appointee will work closely with our administrative and professional team to promote mental health awareness and psychological wellbeing to students at the University. The appointee will coordinate mental health initiatives staff training and publicity of counselling services and resources. The appointee will provide administrative and logistic support to counselling and psychological services assist in operation of mental health or wellness activities/projects/events crisis support in the office and other duties as assigned.
