VHIR offers a vacant position for a NEUROAGE Network Administrative to join the Innovation and Business Development Directorate (DIDN) and reinforce the development of the NEUROAGE Network. NEUROAGE is a multidisciplinary initiative led by VHIR and financed by AGAUR for the next three years aimed at promoting innovation knowledge transfer and collaborative research in the field of brain health ageing and neurodegeneration.
The DIDNs mission is to transform excellence in research and clinical practice into high-impact healthcare solutions through a structured and value-driven innovation model. Through its certified ISO 56001:2024 innovation management system the Directorate integrates its strategy articulated around four core pillars:
1) Strengthening public-private collaboration by building alliances and co-development initiatives with industry and key health-ecosystem stakeholders to expand the reach of innovation and accelerate validation in real clinical settings.
2) Identifying high-impact innovative solutions through multidimensional assessment and prioritisation of opportunities with clear clinical and market value defining the most appropriate transfer pathway.
3) Fostering a value-oriented innovation culture by promoting training challenge-based programs internal communication and recognition initiatives that embed innovation into clinical and research practice with a focus on patient outcomes.
4) Managing and protecting VHIRs full portfolio of innovation assets ensuring the proper development valuation and safeguarding of the institutes intangibles.
Over the past years VHIR has consolidated a robust innovation and business development model based on collaboration entrepreneurship and impact. This model has accelerated the translation of scientific results into clinical and market-ready solutions: 13 licensed technologies 11 newly created spin-offs and start-ups and over 60 new jobs.
Within this ecosystem NEUROAGE stands as a strategic network that connects researchers clinicians companies technological partners and patient associations to address the challenges of neurodegenerative diseases and healthy ageing. The coordinator will play a key role in the operational and strategic development of the network ensuring efficient communication event coordination community activation project scouting and alignment with the DIDNs innovation strategy.
The successful candidate will contribute to positioning NEUROAGE as a reference hub in brain and ageing innovation maximising its visibility strengthening collaborations promoting translational impact and supporting the generation of new research and innovation opportunities.
As VHIR continues to scale its innovation model and foster cross-sector alliances the NEUROAGE Network Coordinator will be essential in ensuring the long-term growth consolidation and international projection of the network.

Main responsibilities and duties:
Organise meetings and conferences: agenda coordination room booking preparation of documentation drafting agendas and minutes managing registrations travel and accommodation etc.
Maintain an up-to-date record of the status of the Networks activities.
Manage documentation data and indicators derived from the units activity (patents licenses contracts certificates reports and supporting documents invoices support for grant applications etc.).
Coordinate agendas and the documentation required for the proper functioning of the Network.
Provide support for any other tasks within their area of responsibility as assigned by their supervisor.
Coordinate visual and branding materials.
Manage the units communications (mailboxes newsletters press releases etc.).
Labour conditions:
Full-time position: 375h/week.
Starting date: immediate
Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
