Join a collaborative highperforming Property team where your strong administrative skills and attention to detail will make a real difference to how Council manages its land leases and property portfolio. This is a varied and engaging role where no two days are the same perfect for someone who enjoys balancing compliance customer service and operational support. Youll play a key part in ensuring Councils property operations run smoothly efficiently and in line with legislative requirements.
You will make an impact by
- Administering property leases licences and related agreements ensuring records documents and data areaccuratecurrentand compliant.
- Supporting road investigations sales and property-related enquiries preparingreportsand liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating naming proposals through the Place Names Advisory Committee andfacilitatingcommunication with Geographic Names Victoria.
- Processing financial tasks including invoicing rent reviews debtormanagementand purchase orders.
- Managing property inbox enquiries CRMS tasks website updates and general administrative functions across the Property team.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience in property administration localgovernmentor a similar environment.
- Strong administrative capability with excellent attention to detailaccuracyand organisational skills.
- Sound judgement and the ability to make informed decisions based on experiencelegislationand policy.
- Knowledge of property policies procedures and relevant legislation or the ability to quicklyacquirethis.
- Excellent communicationnegotiationand interpersonal skills with the ability to manage enquiries diplomatically and confidentially.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to provide helpfultimelyandaccurateadvice.
- System savvy with confidence using databases financialsystemsand the full Microsoft Office suite.
