Credit & Commercial Officer

Work - Join Sunwater as a Credit & Commercial Officer where youll play a vital role in working with the Customer and Commercial team to monitor and action overdue debtors quantifying Sunwaters bad debt position and providing recommendations and advice to management on appropriate options for debt recovery. Your role will further include providing credit risk analysis of new and existing customers advise management of emerging trends and minimise risk to Sunwater and the preparation of standard provision contracts.

As a Credit & Commercial Officer at Sunwater you will:

• Manage debtor follow ups and credit assessments to minimise potential of bad debt losses
• Provide reporting analysis and advice in accordance with industry best practice on all credit issues to minimise exposure to risk
• Develop and maintain customer/stakeholder relationships to ensure collections are maximised and complaint with Sunwaters policy and procedures
• Prepare and issue standard form contracts to customers in a timely manner.
• Manage day to day credit activities including applying interest to overdue debtors & managing financial adjustments where required.

We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in a similar role. You will hold previous substantive experience in a similar role or similar industry.

You will also bring:

• Strong problem-solving time management and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build andmaintaineffective and collaborative relationships with small industrial and urban customers
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Attention to detail and ability to meet important timelines.
