We arecurrently seeking a Support Officerto join our Foster andKinship Care team in Rockhampton. They will promote the services ofFoster and Kinship Care in Central Queensland and build strongrelationships with carers to support their journey and improveretention.

What will a typical day look like

  • Assist with the development implementation and evaluation of a Community Awareness Strategy in relation to the recruitment of Foster Carers.
  • Design and coordinate Foster and Kinship carer events.
  • Assist with the organisations participation in events for target groups to increase the profile of Foster Care. This includes promotional days education sessions training recruitment activities and information sessions.
  • Work closely with the Foster Kinship and Intensive Care team to ensure that the impact of any campaign/event is addressed at the planning stages.

MandatoryRequirements:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or related discipline with relevant experience.

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
