What youll do

As a North America Payroll Specialist you will Own it by taking full accountability for the end-to-end payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada ensuring every cycle is delivered with the highest standards of accuracy timeliness and legislative compliance. Acting with purpose and care you will serve as a process owner and subject matter expert collaborating with intent across HR Finance and Tax teams to harmonize workflows and maintain robust internal controls. You will drive results that matter by leading continuous improvement initiatives leveraging platforms like Workday and ADP to automate manual tasks and optimize the payroll experience. By staying ahead of evolving regulations and taking the initiative on complex system projects you will ensure our payroll function remains a pillar of operational excellence and integrity.

Who were looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with over 5 years of hands-on payroll experience in the U.S. and Canada who is ready to Own it by taking initiative and accountability for complex payroll operations. Our ideal candidate possesses deep subject matter expertise in North American legislation including specific knowledge of Quebec and ideally holds a PCP or CPM certification. You should be a performance-driven individual with a bachelors degree in a related field and technical proficiency in major platforms like Workday ADP or Ceridian. Beyond technical skills we are looking for a collaborative partner who acts with purpose and care to drive continuous improvement exhibits an analytical mindset with high attention to detail and thrives in a high-volume deadline-driven environment. Ultimately you are someone committed to lifelong learning and excellence ready to collaborate across time zones to deliver results that matter for a global organization.

Youll also need

  • Extensive Payroll Expertise: You possess 5 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll cycles for both the U.S. and Canada. This includes deep knowledge of North American legislation specifically including Quebec regulations and familiarity with year-end reconciliations and statutory reporting.

  • Technical Proficiency: You are highly proficient in major payroll and HRIS platforms such as Workday ADP or Ceridian. You have a proven ability to lead or support system integrations automation initiatives and digital transformations to eliminate manual tasks.

  • Operational Accountability: You act as a process owner with strong self-management and prioritization skills ensuring all payroll activities remain compliant with internal controls SOX and audit requirements in a high-volume environment.

  • Analytical Problem-Solving: You bring an analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy. You are skilled at identifying workflow optimizations and acting as a subject matter expert for cross-functional projects that impact payroll.

  • Collaborative Partnership: You demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills collaborating with intent across HR Finance and Tax departments to ensure aligned and seamless payroll practices.
