About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise ERP upgrade initiative with a strong focus on financial this role you will collaborate closely with Finance IT teams and external vendors to manage the full upgrade lifecycle-from planning and design through go-live and stabilization.

This position is ideal for a project leader who can bridge business and technology drive delivery manage risks and ensure Finance stakeholders are well prepared throughout the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle including initiation planning execution governance monitoring and project closure.
Lead planning sessions design workshops testing activities training and change management initiatives.
Oversee vendor coordination and ensure smooth transition from project delivery to operational support.

ERP Upgrade Delivery

Lead the end-to-end ERP upgrade implementation including planning execution testing cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
Develop and manage project plans schedules budgets dependencies and risk registers.
Coordinate efforts across IT teams Finance stakeholders system integrators and vendors.

Finance & Business Partnership

Act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance teams throughout the ERP upgrade.
Support Finance stakeholders with requirements validation process changes testing data migration and user readiness.
Ensure financial modules align with business needs compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions to address process configuration and data impacts.

Governance & Delivery Management

Establish and maintain project governance reporting frameworks and executive communications.
Manage scope change requests and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure compliance with internal controls audit requirements and financial reporting standards.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution with business teams.

Change Risk & Quality Management

Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity financial reporting and business continuity.
Oversee cutover planning go-live readiness and stabilization activities.
Ensure completion of documentation training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications & Experience

5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
Proven experience delivering ERP upgrades or ERP transformation projects.
Strong experience working with Finance teams and financial systems.
Solid understanding of financial business processes and system dependencies.
Experience engaging executive and C-suite stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
ITIL v3 or v4 certification (asset).
Public sector experience is an asset.
