Job Summary

Test Planning & Design: Facilitate the development of the detailed DR test plan

scope objectives success criteria (RTO/RPO validation) and required resources in

collaboration with RBC stakeholders. Prepare Order of Execution documents.

Test Readiness Assessment: Validate the readiness of DR infrastructure applications

and runbooks prior to the test execution.

Test Execution & Facilitation: Support and when necessary lead the execution of the

DR test event ensuring adherence to the test plan managing technical teams and

actively tracking all steps challenges and deviations.

Escalation Management: Act as the primary escalation point during the live test

resolving critical technical ambiguities and ensuring swift decision-making to maintain

test momentum.

Test Observation & Data Capture: Document the actual recovery times for key

milestones capture evidence and record all failures gaps and issues encountered

during the test.

Test Reporting & Analysis: Generate a comprehensive Post-Test Report detailing

the overall outcome validating success against defined objectives and RTO/RPO

targets and identifying non-compliance issues. Conduct Post Exercise Review calls.

Remediation Documentation: Deliver detailed actionable Remediation

Recommendations and support the development of the associated corrective action

plan to address all gaps identified during testing.

Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
