The Program
Clarity is proud to support the delivery of the new Medicare Mental Health Check-In Service a national digital mental health service launched on 1 January 2026. This innovative program provides free guided and accessible digital support including low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Available to anyone in Australia and without the need for a referral the service offers self-guided resources and rapid access to mental health practitioners through telehealth SMS and online chat.
The service operates across extended hours delivering care Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 10.00pm and 8.00am to 4.00pm on weekends and public holidays with flexible shift options available.
The Role - LiCBT Practitioner
We are seeking experienced and passionate allied health professionals (Psychologists Provisional Psychologists Social Workers Mental Health Occupational Therapists and Nurses) to work within this program to deliver structured LiCBT services online to a diverse caseload of clients. Practitioners will also be responsible for developing individualised treatment plans monitoring progress and supporting a consistently positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality person-centred low-intensity CBT (LiCBT) via telephone video webchat and other digital modalities.
Develop and implement LiCBT treatment plans in line with service guidelines.
Manage and monitor a caseload including accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Assess risk and escalate or transfer care as required in collaboration with clinical leaders.
Provide culturally safe inclusive care to a diverse range of users.
Participate in clinical supervision training and ongoing professional development.
Ensure compliance with clinical governance accreditation standards and organisational policies.
