| The purpose of this position isvital in the implementation of our EHS systems in Australia and New Zealand MU in response to the requirement of Australia and New Zealand EHS Law and support the requirement of the customer and Vertiv. | | | | | |
Key Responsibilities - Enforce the implementation of EHS systems in Australia and New Zealand MU which include safety audit risk assessment safety engagement safety training incident reporting and investigation and PPE.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support to fulfill the requirements of customers on EHS matters.
- Ensure regular communication on EHS matters with all employees through the monthly safety committee meetings toolbox talks noticeboards and emails.
- Maintains records of SDS sheets work hazards safety training safety and workers-comp history safety site audits and maintenance of all records.
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are met for Service operations.
- Actively participate in various regional and global EHS activities and ensure that all Vertiv EHS initiatives are cascaded and implemented in the market unit.
- Manage sub-contractor health and safety reporting to ensure the highest quality performance.

- Actively promote safety in the workplace

| Education/Qualification: | - Bachelors degree in occupational health & safety or related field

| Specialist Knowledge: | - Excellent knowledge of the Australia and New Zealand EHS Law and regulations
- Emphasis on electrical safety ARC Flash Lockout Machine Guarding Ergonomics etc.
- Knowledgeable in ISO 14001 ISO 9001 and ISO 45001
- Proficiency in MS Office and Smartsheet

| Practical Experience: | - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health role with exposure to field service operation and risk management

Personal Characteristics: | - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
- Ability to present analysis results and options to management in a clear concise way.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
