Analyst Molecular Cell Biology

We are currently recruiting Analysts for our Molecular Cell Biology team within our Dungarvan facility. We are ideally seeking candidates with experience along with a relevant BSc or MSc qualification. 

The purpose of the role is to carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards. 

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota overtime and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
• Ensure customer requirements are met; demonstrate flexibility to work across business areas.

Qualifications :

• BSc/Msc qualification in a science related dicipline
• Experience with cell based potency methods Cell based assay and method development of MCB methods
• Strong attention to detail 
• Organised accurate and strong documentation skills
• Good understanding of GMP
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Professionalism quality consciousness and willingness to learn
• Proactive flexible and customer-focused
• Excellent communication skills
