Job Summary
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Job Title: Laboratory Analyst
- Job Type: 12 month FTC
- Location: Whitegate Co. Cork
- Hours: 40hrs per week
- Salary: per annum DOE
- Industry: Oil Gas & Chemical
Overview of the role
- Provide functional support within the laboratory using testing equipment as agreed with management.
- Conduct quality testing and reporting using workflows templates etc ensuring proper documentation and method of testing.
- Help identify promote and improve best practices within a Laboratory environment.
- Deliver and promote best practices for administration of Lab applications and results.
- Assist in day-to-day housekeeping as and when required.
- Take on additional tasks when required to ensure smooth running of the Laboratory environment.
Qualifications :
You will also have the following
- 3rd level education in science subject is essential
- Experience in Hydrocarbon / Environmental water testing & analysis is desirable
- Sustainability qualification also an advantage
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a Team
- Excellent attention to detail
To be considered for this role you must hold a valid and eligible work permit or visa that authorizes you to work in Ireland.
