Department Overview

TD Direct Investing offers financial services for self-directed investors across Canada accessible online by phone or in branch. Clients receive tools information and support to invest independently with confidence.

We also provide an education program designed to help Canadians improve their financial literacy and investment confidence.

Job Description

The Producer/Director will lead the planning development and delivery of a weekly online live interview show featuring both live and pre-recorded content to support Direct Investing. Core accountabilities include:

Collaborate with Content Strategy and Delivery teams to develop program concepts.

Source guests conduct research pre-interview and write scripts/questions.

Provide research packs for hosts.

Edit and mix audio/visual content.

Develop social content to broaden the reach/awareness of the shows.

Coach talentoninterview techniques.

Manage live and recorded programs.usingspecific software (ON24 OBSVizrt Riverside).

Advise oncontent development and messaging to meet strategicobjectives.

Work with Client Education and stakeholders onspecial events.

Maintain editorial calendar for team continuity.

Enhance technical production through creativity andexpertise.

Job Requirements

Candidates shouldpossessa blend of post-secondary education and substantial practical experience.

A minimum of five years experience within a broadcast or production environment is.

Exceptionalproficiencyin Adobe Creative Suite applications (including After Effects Premiere Photoshop etc.) is essential.

Skilled in ON24 OBS andVizrt.

Proven ability to pitch and produce concepts for live programming.

Comprehensive knowledge of both Canadian and international investment landscapesis consideredan asset.

A demonstrated history of creativity innovation and meticulous attention to detail.

Established success in securingexceptionalguests for live broadcasts(including influencers).

Experience in writing host scripts thatmaintaina conversational style.

Highly resourceful organized and proactive capable of solving problems efficiently under pressure in dynamic settings.

Superior presentation and communication abilities.

Consistently supports and fosters an inclusive respectful workplace culture.

A solidgrasp of digital content marketing and social media distribution strategies isadvantageous.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
