Job Location - Chakan MIDC Pune
As an Environment Health and Safety Officer you will support safe and compliant factory operations by driving daily EHS activities performing inspections and risk assessments ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to a strong safety culture across the site
Your role:
Conduct safety inspections surveys internal audits Gemba walks and risk assessments.
Support ISO 45001:2018 implementation documentation and EHS compliance recordkeeping.
Manage contractor and visitor safety processes including Work Permits.
Deliver EHS trainings and support incident/accident investigations and rootcause analysis.
Maintain and update EHS software systems (Benchmark Gensuite Wercs Credit 360 Enhesa Legatrix ARIS etc.).
Identify process improvements and initiate change requests to strengthen EHS performance.
Coordinate site Safety & Sustainability KPIs with crossfunctional teams.
Youre the right fit if you have :
You have 35 years of EHS experience in a Manufacturing/Factory environment including experience in contractor safety management.
You hold an Engineering degree ADIS (MSBTE)
ISO 14001/45001 Lead or Internal Auditor certification is required.
NEBOSH certification is an advantage.
You have strong skills in risk assessment inspections problem solving communication and documentation.
Ability to read/speak Marathi is required.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
