Do you thrive on helping people solving problems and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes Join DOCs People & Culture Support Hub and play a key part in supporting the people who protect Aotearoas natural and cultural heritage every day.
As a People & Culture Support Coordinator youll be a first point of contact for People & Culture enquiries providing timely practical support to DOC employees and people leaders. Working within a collaborative Hub model youll manage enquiries end-to-end through case management guide people through self-service tools and standard processes and process a range of transactional HR activities. Youll use sound judgement to resolve issues escalate where needed and help deliver a positive customer experience.
The position will be focused on:
Managing P&C enquiries end-to-end (logging prioritising responding and closing cases)
Providing frontline HR operational support and processing worker changes (e.g. secondments changes to working arrangements documentation and system updates)
Supporting employees and people leaders to use self-service tools and follow standard P&C processes (e.g. leave staff movements)
Being part of the People & Culture phoneline roster responding to calls resolving straightforward enquiries and triaging/escalating more complex matters
Working closely with colleagues across P&C and DOC to resolve issues and keep things moving

Youre great with people confident juggling multiple tasks and you enjoy varied work in a fast-paced support environment. Youre careful with details communicate clearly and take pride in being reliable and responsive.
You bring:
Experience with HR systems and/or case management tools (e.g. Workday JadeStar ServiceNow or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset
Great organisation skills and attention to detail
Sound judgement including knowing when to escalate sensitive or complex matters
A strong commitment to confidentiality privacy and responsible handling of people data
An understanding of DOCs Treaty Partnership and the ability to incorporate tikanga and te reo Māori in your work
Desirable:
Experience in HR operations/shared services or recruitment support
Knowledge of employment agreements and relevant employment legislation

The salary range for this position is $65070 $81150 pro-rata with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
