Provide technical support for our stores support office and warehouses across New Zealand ensuring the seamless operation of hardware software and IT infrastructure. Support business initiatives including new store setups relocations closures and projects by delivering effective IT solutions.
Please note this is a 4 month secondment with potential to go permanent
- Installation configuration and support of store and warehouse hardware including: Servers such as Windows Hyper-V and Backup; and Desktop/laptop/mobile computers printers and peripherals.
- Provision configure and maintain Support Office hardware including desktop/laptop computers mobile phones printers and other IT related items
- Software application support including Windows Microsoft Office POS EFTPOS client and internal applications
- Provide staff with timely responses to requests and effective resolution of queries
- Escalate issues in line with established processes and provide information and input for system investigations as required
- Monitor the service desk ticketing system responding and providing support as required
- Provide remote support to stores and warehouses in New Zealand as well as onsite support for Support Office
- Maintain detailed documentation of hardware configurations and procedures.
- Work closely with the IT Lead and other teams within AU IT contributing to routine system health checks maintenance upgrades and the resolution of issues and user queries.
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in first line technical support in service desk or similar environment.
- Retail experience highly desirable.
