Investment Analyst - New York

Salary Range: $85000 - $115000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.

What youll be responsible for:

The selected candidate for the Investment Analyst role will conduct investment research build financial models and support portfolio decision-making across asset classes. You will translate market data and company fundamentals into actionable investment insights that drive superior returns. You will:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies industries and market trends to identify investment opportunities
• Build sophisticated financial models (DCF comparable company analysis precedent transactions and scenario analysis)
• Analyze financial statements competitive positioning and business models to assess investment risk and return potential
• Monitor portfolio holdings and track performance against benchmarks and investment theses
• Prepare investment memos pitch presentations and research reports for portfolio managers and investment committees
• Support due diligence processes (management meetings site visits expert calls and third-party research analysis)

• Track macroeconomic indicators market developments and regulatory changes that impact investment decisions

Youll be a strong match if you have:

• 3-5 years in consulting (MBB Big 4 or boutique firms) with exposure to valuation financial modeling or industry research
• Strong financial analysis skills i.e. you understand financial statements build models from scratch and can evaluate business fundamentals
• Experience with equity research credit analysis or investment due diligence processes
• The ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources and distill it into clear investment recommendations
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies (DCF multiples-based valuation comparable transaction analysis)
• Experience working with quantitative and qualitative data i.e. you balance rigorous analysis with business judgment
